A resident of Montreal, David Heurtel, reelected on the last 7th of April, is currently the MNA for the Viau RCM.

David Heurtel earned his Bachelor of Law from Université de Montréal in 1993 and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1994. He entered politics as a political advisor to the Premier of Quebec, Bernard Landry. In 1999, David Heurtel resumed his studies, first in sales and marketing at HEC Montréal. In 2001, he studied communications at Northwestern University in the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2011, he attended the School of Management Sciences at UQAM.

Professionally, David Heurtel was first an industrial lawyer at the law firm of Lavery in Montreal in the second half of the 1990s. Subsequently, he held the same position at many large companies, including Annex Communications, a Montreal-based public relations agency and the Just For Laughs Group. At the Seattle Center in the United States, he was the Deputy Director. Mr. Heurtel’s prestigious career reflects his impressive university studies.

With his solid education and distinguished career, David Heurtel is a strong manager and communicator with proven leadership skills.
