A 1977 graduate of the University of Sherbrooke, Ghislain Bolduc returned to the Estrie in 2003 after a distinguished 26 year, international career in the Chemical and High-Technology Industries.  Shortly after his return, he became active in local affairs. 

He has been both board member and President of the Domaine de la Sobriété (2004-2012), President of the Club quad du Grand lac St-François (2005-2007), board member of the Conseil de gouvernance de l’eau des  bassins versants de la rivière Saint-François [COGESAF] (2007-2012), board member and President of the Caisse Desjardins du Granit (2007-2012), member of the Commission des véhicles hors route [VHR] (2007-2012), Vice-President of Energie du Granit [EDG] (2010-2012), and President of the Centre local de développement [CLD] (2011-2012). 

Mr. Bolduc was a councilman for the Municipality of Lambton from 2005-2009, and was elected Mayor in 2009 prior to becoming a Member of the National Assembly in 2012. He's re-elected on the 7th of April, 2014. He is actually the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Transport and to the Minister responsible for the Estrie region.
