Hélène David is the MNA of the electoral division of Outremont since April 7th, 2014.
Hélène David has been an involved and experienced manager for many years in the university and social milieus. Author, teacher, lecturer and the recipient of several awards, her contributions to the cultural and scientific life of Montreal is undeniable.
Until recently, Mme David was Vice Rector for International Relations for la Francophonie and Institutional Partnerships at l’Université de Montréal. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the same institution and has been the author of more than a hundred publications. During her brilliant career she has been a Professor at l’Université de Montréal, member of several university committees, assistant director of the Faculty of Psychology and Assistant Deputy Minister responsible for superior education for the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sport.
Born, raised and educated in Outremont, she is very familiar with the different communities in the riding. She was always very involved in her community, whether it was as a Professor at l’Université de Montréal or as a member of the board of the Montreal Cardiological Institute. She has always been motivated by the desire to do her best for her community and for Quebec.
