Jean Habel was born January 9, 1988 in Montreal. He has been a resident of Laval riding for twenty-five years and is acutely aware of important issues for its citizens. Among other things, he seeks to promote local businesses and to preserve the unique identity of Sainte-Rose Boulevard. He is the new MNA of Sainte-Rose since April 7, 2014.
For a long time representative of the Youth Wing of the Quebec Liberal Party, he has shared its values and vision for several years. Today, he represents the party’s renewal by constantly proposing new ideas for the future of Quebecers.
He holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from l’École des hautes études commerciales de Montréal (HEC), and also attended the Aarhus School of Business in Denmark during his university studies. He later obtained his CPA and CMA, both awarded by the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés (CPA).
Very involved socially, Jean Habel is a member of the board of the Association des popotes roulantes du Montréal métropolitain, an organization that comes to the aid of seniors who have lost their mobility. He also is a member of the board of the West Island Assistance Fund, an anti-poverty organization.
