Marc Tanguay, holds two bachelor's degrees, one in Law and another in Political Science. He is an expert on ethical matters. He is the father of two children.
Mr. Tanguay has spent most of the past 10 years in commercial litigation and as a compliance director. More recently, the responsibilities of teaching at the École du Barreau du Québec were added on. In 2010, he was named "Lawyer of the Week" by The Gazette newspaper.
He was elected member of the National Assembly for the riding of LaFontaine during a by-election on June 11th, 2012, re-elected during the general election on September 4th, 2012 and on the general election on April 7th, 2014.
A Canadian Red Cross volunteer for the past four years, he is presently a member of The Federal Idea, a network of Quebecers convinced of the virtues of federalism.
