Marie Montpetit

Living in Montreal and mother of a daughter, Marie Montpetit is the member of the National Assembly of the electoral district of Cremazie since April 7th, 2014.

Professionally, Marie Montpetit has fifteen years of experience in the domain of health and social services. She began as Health politic counsellor and responsible for planning and allocation of medical manpower at the Fédération des médecins résidents du Québec. She worked as a project manager for the Réseau de collaboration de recherche en soins de longue durée at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research and at Centre d'épidémiologie clinique et de recherche en santé publique at the Jewis General Hosptital in Montreal. And, Coordinator at the Table provinciale des centres affiliés universitaires du Québec.  Just before being elected as MNA of Cremazie, Marie Montpetit was counsellor at the Direction de la main-d’œuvre médicale du ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux and President of the Policy Commission in the Quebec liberal Party.

Ms. Montpetit earned her Bachelor of Psychology from Université de Montréal, her Masters in HR Management and Management from Ecole des hautes études commerciales (HEC) Montreal and a Masters in Environmental Science (Major in Public Health) from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM).
