Yves St-Denis

Adjoint parlementaire de la ministre responsable du Travail

Resident of Terrebonne, Mr. St-Denis is the previous President of the Commission scolaire des Affluents. He's the deputy of the electoral division of Argenteuil since April 7th, 2014.

After earning a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Psychology from Collège Ahuntsic in 1982, Yves St-Denis entered the labour market in the retail sector.

Owner of a Rogers Wireless store in Terrebonne from 1986 to 2007, Yves St-Denis began gradually, starting in 1998, to return to the field of education. He became the Commissioner and was elected President of the Commission scolaire des Affluents in 2007. Still in this position, he seeks solutions to boost the graduation rate. He has also been, since 2007, the co-owner of Terrebonne entertainment centre L’Astuce and owner of Mini-Entrepôts Rivière-Rouge.

Mr. St-Denis was named Honorary President of many events, such as Lachenaie’s provincial baseball tournament in 2000 and 2001 and the benefit for the Paroisse Saint-Jean-Baptiste in 2008.

His steadfast commitment to many workplace and community projects, like his involvement in improving the lives of school-age youth is, according to Yves St-Denis, worthy of regional recognition in the National Assembly.
