Santé mentale

QUEBEC, January 30, 2019. – As part of Bell Let’s Talk Day, members of Quebec Liberal Party’s Parliamentary Wing joined the conversation, helping to help break taboos surrounding mental health through a video broadcast on social media. The Liberal officials invited the population to view and share the video widely, using the hashtag #Let’sTalk for all Twitter publications posted today in an effort to help finance mental health initiatives.

The MNA for Marguerite-Bourgeoys and Official Opposition Critic for Social Services, Ms. Hélène David, who is particularly sensitive to this issue, had asked that the Commission on Health and Social Services render a decision regarding the initiative mandate proposal in order to address the issue of access to mental health care services in a non-partisan manner.

I am very sensitive about mental health and am determined to make it an issue of national importance so that I can contribute to enhancing access to better care. Today, on Bell Let’s Talk Day, I invite all of my fellow citizens to be a part of the conversation and help put an end to the stigma attached to mental health issues.
