$590,000 to support childcare projects during March break and summer of 2018

QUÉBEC CITY, February 14 2018 – To promote better balance between family and professional responsibilities for parents who have school-age children, the Government of Quebec is allocating $590,053 to the Support Program for Childcare Projects During the School Break and Summer of 2018.

This sum will fund 60 projects across Quebec. Luc Fortin, Minister of Families, made the announcement today.

This program will provide for new day camps during March break and the summer and improve the offering of existing camps, among other measures. It also aims to promote more balanced management of the time devoted to professional and family life for parents who work or study and have school-age children.
