En Route Toward the 2018 General Election
Chambly, August 8, 2018. – Surrounded by numerous party members and supporters, François Villeneuve became the official candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party in the riding of Chambly for the upcoming 2018 general election.
The Liberal Party is the only party with the values and experience required to ensure the protection of Quebec’s public services. That’s why I decided to join the team.

Recall that the Liberal government restored public finances to provide us with the means to further invest in our priorities. Since May of 2014, over 223,000 jobs were created in Quebec; the unemployment rate has been at an all-time low for several months; over 1,000,000 Quebecers now have access to a family doctor; taxes have decreased; and major investments have been made, particularly in the health care and education sectors.
We’re already on the right track thanks to decisions made by the Liberal Party over the past 4 years. Quebec’s economy has never been as prosperous. It needs to continue, and it isn’t the time to take risks by giving Quebec’s destiny over to a party whose ideas could derail the economy.
