In order to hear from citizens from the various regions and adequately bring their concerns to the National Assembly, the MNAs forming the Official Opposition are about to undertake a huge tour that will take them all across the province.
The tour’s first stop will take place on March 28th and 29th in Rimouski. The MNA representing Bourassa-Sauvé, Ms. Paule Robitaille, and the MNA for La Pinière, Mr. Gaétan Barrette, will attend various meetings and visits over those two days of the tour.
I held the position of Minister responsible for the Côte-Nord region for over three years. I know how important it is for regional stakeholders to have access to elected officials so that they can express their concerns and talk about the kinds of challenges they face. In order to properly represent citizens, we need to be listening. That’s why we have decided to travel all across the province on this tour.
– Pierre Arcand, Leader of the Official Opposition
Over the coming four years, the MNAs that form the official opposition will be going out to meet electors throughout Quebec. It is imperative to be out in the field and talking with citizens and local stakeholders so that we can sound out the population and bring their concerns to the National Assembly.
– Gaétan Barrette, MNA representing La Pinière and Official Opposition Critic for the Conseil du Trésor and Transport and Paule Robitaille, MNA representing Bourassa-Sauvé and Official Opposition Critic for International Relations and La Francophonie
