En route towards the 2018 general elections
Drummondville, July 15th, 2018. – Surrounded by numerous party militants and supporters, Kevin Deland became the official candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party (QLP) in the riding of Drummond–Bois-Francs for the upcoming 2018 general election.
I am so proud to be committing myself to improving my fellow citizens’ quality of life here in Drummond–Bois-Francs. I have such a strong desire to promote the sustainable development of our area, support our businesses’ economic vitality and showcase our natural and agricultural resources. I intend to completely dedicate myself to achieving these objectives, and to increasing prosperity for families and for all citizens in our riding. Together, we will look toward a brilliant future that is greener, more prosperous and more united.
– Kevin Deland, liberal candidate for the 2018 general elections.
Recall that the liberal government restored public finances to provide us with the means to further invest in our priorities. Since May of 2014, over 223 000 jobs were created in Quebec; the unemployment rate has been at an all-time low for several months; over 1,000,000 Quebecers now have access to a family doctor; taxes have decreased; and major investments have been made, particularly in the health care and education sectors.
Thanks our party’s tireless work over the last four years, we have established a dynamic climate that is conducive to development throughout all of Quebec’s regions. The Liberal Party understood long ago that innovation requires renewal. That is why, today, Kevin is joining a solid team that has great ambitions for Quebec; a team that can draw from his youth, his determination and his profound desire to defend those who watched him come of age. We have to combine our strengths to continue building a Quebec that future generations will remain proud of.
