En route towards the 2018 general election
Granby, July 26, 2018 – Surrounded by many militants and supporters, Lyne Laverdure became the official candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party in the riding of Granby for the upcoming 2018 general election.
I chose Granby because it sets itself apart through its entrepreneurial spirit, its strong, dynamic culture, its recreational and tourism services offer and through its environment and its quality of life. The riding of Granby is also known for its ability to welcome and integrate, for its community groups and especially for its sense of solidarity.

Recall that the liberal government restored public finances to provide us with the means to further invest in our priorities. Since May of 2014, over 223 000 jobs were created in Quebec; the unemployment rate has been at an all-time low for several months; over 1,000,000 Quebecers now have access to a family doctor; taxes have decreased; and major investments have been made, particularly in the health care and education sectors.
I want to be part of a solid and dynamic team who bases its political action on principles and values so that they can offer the population of Granby and all Quebecers achievements that measure up to their ambitions.
