En route to the 2018 general election
Donnacona, July 3, 2018. – Surrounded by many party members and supporters, Philippe Gasse was nominated as the official candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party (QLP) in the riding of Portneuf for the upcoming 2018 general election.
In order to provide our children with a prosperous Québec that will allow them to achieve their dreams and give them the freedom to promote their values of social justice and intergenerational equity and to continue the work of Michel Matte, I’m running under the banner of the Quebec Liberal Party. By voting for me, the people of Portneuf will elect an MNA who has their concerns at heart and who will represent them well.
– Philippe Gasse, official candidate for the 2018 general election.
Note that the Liberal government has balanced our public finances to give us the means to invest more in our priorities. Since May 2014, more than 229,500 jobs have been created in Québec; the unemployment rate has been at an all-time low for several months; over 1,000,000 Quebecers now have access to a family doctor; taxes have decreased; and major investments have been made, particularly in health and education.
So that the people of Portneuf continue to receive their fair share, it is vitally important that they have a representative who will defend their interests through involvement, knowledge of the community and loyalty. Philippe Gasse can count on my support since he is the person designated to represent the people of this riding.
– Michel Matte, MNA for Portneuf.
