Laval, March 26, 2018. – Marie Montpetit, Minister of Culture and Communications and Minister responsible for the Protection and Promotion of the French Language, and Francine Charbonneau, Minister responsible for Seniors and Anti-Bullying and Minister responsible for the Laval region, visited the Cosmodome today to announce $3 million in financial aid for nine museums and educational centres.
This one-time special funding is being granted to support the missions and science- and technology-oriented activities of museums and educational centres recognized by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications. It is part of the vision of shared responsibility espoused by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications and the Ministère de l’Économie, de la Science et de l’Innovation.
