En route to the 2018 general election

Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, May 20, 2018. – Surrounded by many party members and supporters, Simon Laboissonnière was nominated as the official candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party (QLP) in the riding of Côte-du-Sud for the upcoming 2018 general election.

I will continue to be everywhere on the ground. I will visit each municipality and meet you one by one. I know that what we need here is an accessible, genuine MNA who is close to the people, and that’s what I promise to be for you.

– Simon Laboissonnière, Liberal candidate for the 2018 general election.

Note that the Liberal government has balanced our public finances to give us the means to invest more in our priorities. Since May 2014, more than 224,800 jobs have been created in Quebec; the unemployment rate has been at an all-time low for several months; over 1,000,000 Quebecers now have access to a family doctor; taxes have decreased; and major investments have been made in health and education, in particular.

Having worked with Simon for several years, I can testify to his vast political experience and his great connection with the area. He is a unifying candidate who listens to people and who has all the essential qualities to represent the residents of Côte-du-Sud brilliantly.

– Norbert Morin, MNA for Côte-du-Sud and Deputy Government Whip.

We all care deeply about Côte-du-Sud, and I will ensure that our work and our unity will give us the impact we need to make our riding stand out on the provincial scale.

– Simon Laboissonnière, Liberal candidate for the 2018 general election.
