While a number of families are experiencing uncertainty as the July 1st Quebec moving day approaches, the Premier and his Minister of Municipal Affairs, Andrée Laforest, deny the very existence of the social housing crisis that is currently affecting many of Quebec’s regions, and its metropolis in particular.

François Legault and his minister must act quickly and support the hundreds of families who will be without housing in a few days if they don’t intervene rapidly; the government has the means to help them. Recall that a few weeks ago we proposed a tax for international real-estate investors so that the government could reinvest those sums in social housing, among others.

How can the Premier and the Minister of Municipal Affairs be so insensitive to the fact that these families may find themselves in the streets in just a few days? They simply must take action!
