Montréal, October 16, 2017. – Quebec Liberal Party (QLP) Director General Sylvain Langis has announced the nomination of Josée Lévesque as Chief Organizer for the 2018 general election.
A QLP member for 30 years, Josée Lévesque was previously Chief Organizer of the 2014 general election. Josée Lévesque is currently the Government Whip’s Chief of Staff. She will join the QLP team in the next few weeks.
Josée Lévesque played an essential role during the great 2014 election victory. As the next general election nears, it is important for the QLP to strengthen its campaign team. I am extremely pleased that she has once again agreed to join our team as Chief Organizer.

Mr. Langis has been running the Party and organization effectively since 2016. With the next election only a year away, the QLP’s electoral organization is going to intensify. I therefore welcome the arrival of Ms. Lévesque as Chief Organizer, a very important position within a political party. Ms. Lévesque is a long-standing Party member, which means she has excellent knowledge of the Party, its institutions, and, especially, its supporters. Together, they will form a winning team for our organization.
