Catherine St-Amour committed to putting Soulanges back on the map
Growing up in the Soulanges riding, Catherine St-Amour took her first steps in active politics as Youth Vice-President of the Soulanges Liberal Association at the age of 18, alongside former Liberal MP Lucie Charlebois. Attached to her community, the dedicated advocate still resides in Soulanges.
Catherine St-Amour has been a member of the QLP for 11 years. She has a long track record of citizen involvement. President of the organizing committee of the Congrès-Jeunes in 2018 and currently president of the Animation and Organization Committee, she was awarded the Robert-Bourassa prize in 2021 in recognition of her remarkable commitment within the Quebec Liberal Party.
With five years of volunteer involvement with Operation Red Nose, the young committed professional has built an important network of contacts throughout her many years of citizen participation.
Serving the citizens of Marquette every day as the director of the constituency office and political advisor since 2018, Catherine St-Amour now wants to devote herself to helping the community in her home riding of Soulanges. Welly equipped to mobilize the resources needed to help the vulnerable, Catherine will be a strong advocate for the priorities of Soulanges’ residents including when it comes to access to health care, the rising cost of living, home ownership, family support, local post-pandemic economic recovery and environmental protection.
Catherine St-Amour is committed to providing a strong voice to the riding’s citizens so that she can bring their needs to the National Assembly and put Soulanges back on the map.
