Igor Pivovar is an exceptional candidate to carry the interests of Chauveau’s citizens to Quebec’s National Assembly

With over 15 years of experience in the legal, human rights and citizen protection fields in the public, private and international sectors, Igor Pivovar is a lawyer by training and currently works at the Municipal Court of Quebec City. A graduate of the Université du Québec à Montréal and the École Nationale d’Administration Publique du Québec, the candidate worked as a project manager for Cabinet Consultation Contacts Monde in Montréal, an organization offering consulting services in economic relations and international trade.

Igor has also worked as an advisor and legal assistant for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), for the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, and as an advisor for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). His expertise was also put to good use during his involvement with the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and the Africa Expansion Forum in Montreal in 2017.

During my studies in law and public administration in Quebec, I had the opportunity to learn about the history and evolution of the Quebec parliamentary system in which the Quebec Liberal Party plays a very important role. The oldest of its kind in Quebec, the QLP is associated with the Quiet Revolution, as well as other major initiatives and reforms. The Liberal team is offering bold proposals to strengthen Quebec and I pledge to dedicate my energy, knowledge and experience to contributing to the success of our leader Dominique Anglade and ensuring that the priorities of the citizens of Chauveau are heard in Quebec’s National Assembly.

Igor Pivovar, Official Candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party in Chauveau for 2022
