Before entering politics, I was editor and co-owner of the newspapers L’Édition and L’Express d’Anjou.
I have always been involved in my community at the head of numerous boards of administration, be it the Réseau des Femmes d’affaires du Québec – Est de Montréal, the Anjou chapter of the Chamber of Commerce, the Local Development Centre, or Caisse Populaire. I have been presented with around a dozen distinctions, honours and awards for this involvement.
Since my first election, I have held several parliamentary positions; six of them as minister, including as Deputy Premier. After all these years, I am still proud to continue serving my fellow citizens.
