A word from the Roberval candidate
Born in Saint-Prime, I had the opportunity to grow up on a family equestrian farm, surrounded by devoted parents. I began my community involvement as a child, including by being committed to my elementary school council, as a musician in the parish guard and as a member of a Saint-Prime choir.
Throughout high school, I worked as a farm worker on the neighbouring dairy farms, as well as in Chambord when I arrived there at 18. In more recent years, I was approached by the organizers of the Festival du Cowboy to become involved, first as vice-president and then as president.
Thanks to my community experience, I have met with residents in the riding of Roberval who have their riding at heart and want to see it flourish. My desire to be involved in politics stems from them. They conveyed to me their passion for community involvement and developing local projects. I chose the Quebec Liberal Party because it is a party that wants Quebec to evolve by providing new objectives and the means to achieve them, all the while preserving its cultural, environmental and economic heritage. The Liberal Party is a party with a rich history that has always known how to adapt as Quebec evolves.
Over the course of the coming weeks, I will put all of my heart and energy into ensuring that Roberval maintains strong representation to provide the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region’s residents with an MNA who will defend them for the next four years. The riding of Roberval has priceless value in my eyes, and I promise the citizens that I will showcase it, make them proud of their roots and defend their interests at the National Assembly.
My involvement in my community, my knowledge of local issues and my desire to improve citizens’ quality of life have been my biggest source of motivation for becoming the Quebec Liberal Party candidate. The Liberal team has represented the citizens of Roberval well over the past years and I will spare no efforts to make sure that work continues.
