It will also provide better support for teachers and school teams so they can devote more time to their primary mission: guiding students toward success.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen a child needs help, every week counts. A parent shouldn\u2019t have to fight to get support for their child, and a teacher shouldn\u2019t be left to deal alone with needs they can\u2019t meet. We want to put resources directly into schools so we can intervene earlier, before difficulties pile up. Because providing the right help at the right time can change a young person\u2019s life.\u201d \u2013 Charles Milliard, leader of the Quebec Liberal Party<\/p>\n<p><strong>Act Now, Prepare for the Future<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the Quebec Liberal Party reaffirms its commitment to launch, within the first 100 days of a Liberal government, an independent national forum on education. This major initiative will provide an opportunity to review the entire educational pathway\u2014from early childhood education to university\u2014and to develop a long-term vision centered on a fundamental question: How can we give every young person\u2014regardless of their needs, background, or region\u2014every opportunity to succeed?<\/p>\n<p><strong>More details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The seven major projects will be organized as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Educational Success as a Priority<\/strong> : which will cover, among other topics, academic success, the path to graduation, the various tracks leading to a diploma, the phenomenon of boys dropping out, inclusion in the classroom, equity, social diversity, and equal opportunity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. School staff for our young people<\/strong> : which will address, among other things, the appeal of various professions, continuing education, workplace integration, working conditions for all staff, and, above all, focus on retention.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. The Role of Schools and the Education System<\/strong> : which will cover, among other things, proficiency in French, the content of the subjects taught, the role of culture in our schools, and adaptation to the digital world through digital literacy, numeracy, and artificial intelligence; and, finally, the distribution of responsibilities among the government, families, staff, communities, and partners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. School as a Living Environment<\/strong> : which will cover, among other things, youth mental health, the school climate, the rise in violence, and collaboration between schools and the health, social services, cultural, and community sectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Education for All<\/strong> : which will cover, among other things, the promotion of vocational and technical training, continuing education, reskilling and returning to school, higher education and research, and the specific needs of the regions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Funding for Schools<\/strong> : which will cover, among other things, resource allocation, infrastructure, access to services, and disparities between regions and institutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.
