Morin was officially nominated as the QLP candidate in the Acadie riding. <\/strong>\n<p>A native of his riding, Mr. Morin is seeking a second term as MNA for Acadie. Over the past four years, he has served as Official Opposition critic for immigration, francization and integration, justice, and relations with First Nations and Inuit. He is also Vice-Chairman of the Commission des relations avec les citoyens, in addition to being the critic responsible for the Nord-du-Qu\u00e9bec region.<\/p>\n<p>Before entering politics, this doctor of comparative criminal law and legal history was Chief Federal Prosecutor at the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, having previously served as Acting Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions at the same organization.
