Laval, on July 7, 2026 \u2014 In the presence of Quebec Liberal Party leader Charles Milliard and local party activists, Caroline De Guire was officially announced as the Quebec Liberal Party\u2019s candidate in the Laval-des-Rapides riding for the upcoming general election.<\/p>\n
An economist by training and a recognized manager, Caroline De Guire has more than 25 years of experience in economic development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and representing the business community. With a master\u2019s degree in economics from the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, she has dedicated her career to bringing together businesses, institutions, and local partners around projects that contribute to the growth and development of communities.<\/p>\n
Since 2020, she has led the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry, one of the largest chambers of commerce in Quebec. Under her leadership, the organization has strengthened its role as a key player in regional economic development by advancing several initiatives related to productivity, sustainable development, buying local, the next generation of entrepreneurs, Francization, and innovation.<\/p>\n
Recognized for her ability to mobilize people, build bridges, and turn ideas into concrete action, Caroline De Guire has worked closely with entrepreneurs, public institutions, municipal officials, and community organizations to find solutions to the region\u2019s economic and social challenges. Her career reflects a consistent commitment to bringing together local stakeholders around shared goals.<\/p>\n
