A member of the Ordre des infirmi\u00e8res et infirmiers du Qu\u00e9bec since 2019, she has worked in various healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities (CHSLDs), hospitals, and community health centers (CLSCs). This experience has enabled her to develop a practical understanding of the challenges faced by patients, their loved ones, and healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n<p>A graduate of C\u00e9gep \u00c9douard-Montpetit, she is constantly pursuing professional development. After completing a university program in wound care at the University of Sherbrooke, she hopes to pursue graduate studies in occupational health and safety management. Her career path reflects a consistent commitment to improving practices and the quality of services.<\/p>\n<p>An active member of the Quebec Liberal Party for more than six years, Yvena Luc shares the party\u2019s values of openness, equal opportunity, and economic development. Convinced that public policy decisions must, above all, bring about tangible improvements in citizens\u2019 lives, she now hopes to put her expertise to work for the families of Repentigny.<\/p>\n<p>Deeply involved in her community, she serves on the board of directors of the Association of Nurses and Nursing Assistants of Haitian Origin in Canada and is actively involved in several community organizations. Her commitment is guided by a single conviction: a stronger society depends on accessible public services, an effective healthcare system, and supportive communities.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAs a nurse, I\u2019ve learned that behind every medical record there is a person, a family, and a story. This reality stays with me every day, and it\u2019s what inspired me to take the leap into politics. I want to be a voice for the citizens of Repentigny, advocate for a more accessible healthcare system, support those who work in it, and help build communities where everyone can age with dignity and receive the care they need.
