Her diverse career path has enabled her to develop solid expertise in business development, project management, and strategic communications, combining the worlds of business, entrepreneurship, and law.

With a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in notarial law, she practiced at a law firm, where she gained significant experience in real estate law, construction law, and corporate law. This background has given her an in-depth understanding of the construction industry, regulatory issues, and real estate and business realities.

Throughout her career, the QLP candidate in Fabre has founded and led businesses and spearheaded large-scale projects, while also getting involved with community organizations. She is recognized for her unifying leadership, strategic vision, and ability to advance complex issues, as well as for her advocacy skills and her ability to bring together different stakeholders around shared projects. Having previously run for federal office, she has developed a deep understanding of public policy issues.

Marie Claude Fournier has decided to enter politics to be part of the change and to put her experience to work for the people. In Fabre, she hopes to address Quebec’s major issues, particularly housing, infrastructure, and public services.

“I’m entering politics because I believe in Laval’s potential and in Quebec’s ability to do better. After more than twenty years of leading teams, building businesses, and managing large-scale projects, I want to put that experience to work for the citizens of Fabre. Housing, infrastructure, and the quality of public services affect the daily lives of every family in the riding. With his ability to bring people together and his experience in the business world, Charles Milliard is the leader Quebec needs, and it is with this team that I want to work starting October 5.”

— Marie Claude Fournier, QLP candidate in Fabre

“Marie Claude Fournier is familiar with the world of work, the construction industry, and entrepreneurship. She knows what it takes to see projects through to completion, and she also knows the cost of failing to do so. In Laval, where housing and infrastructure are top priorities, this experience will be invaluable. She is exactly the kind of candidate I want on our team: thorough, a unifying force, and capable of making progress on complex issues.”

- Charles Milliard, Leader of the Quebec Liberal Party

Laval, August 12, 2026 — The Quebec Liberal Party is proud to announce the candidacy of Ms. Marie Claude Fournier in the Fabre riding for the upcoming…

"_seopress_social_twitter_img_attachment_id":0
[170

41

173,174

post-24767","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-communique","circonscription-fabre","langue-francais","langue-anglais
["GET
