Marie Montpetit and Gregory Kelley to defend citizens of Estrie

The Quebec Liberal Party (QLP) recently nominated MNAs Marie Montpetit and Gregory Kelley as the MNAs responsible for the Estrie region. The MNAs will travel throughout the region to meet with citizens and listen to their concerns, so that they can carry their voices to the National Assembly.

Citizens in the region of Estrie can count on us to defend their interests in regional files and speak on their behalf in the National Assembly. It was important for me to attend the Great Lakes-St-Lawrence Legislative Caucus Annual Meeting in Chicago last weekend. Among other topics, we discussed the protection of Lake Memphremagog, a source of clean water for thousands of Estrie residents that is currently threatened by the expansion of a landfill in Coventry, Vermont. I will defend the citizens of Estrie with energy and determination- they can count on us!

Marie Montpetit

There is a large Anglophone community in Estrie and I want to be sure that their voices are being heard in the National Assembly, especially because communication lines with the CAQ government seem to be non-existent in the region. As the Liberal Critic for Relations with Quebec’s English-Speaking Communities, the English-speaking community in Estrie can count on me to defend its interests.
