A political advisor in the Cabinet of the Minister of Economic Development for Ministers Raymond Bachand and Clément Gignac from 2008 to 2012, Elisabeth Prass has extensive expertise in economic public policy. With 15 years of experience serving the citizens of the diverse communities of D’Arcy-McGee, including as director of the riding office of Liberal MNA David Birnbaum from 2014 to 2021, her knowledge of the issues of concern to riding residents makes Elisabeth Prass an exceptional candidate. A mother of two children, one of whom has special needs and attends school in the riding, she is currently a senior government relations advisor for VIA Rail Canada. Elisabeth grew up in Côte-Saint-Luc and is the daughter of Jewish immigrants from Morocco and Latvia. She is entering active politics to ensure a strong voice for D’Arcy-McGee residents in the National Assembly and the Liberal Caucus.
Having spent most of my life living or working in the riding’s political sphere, I understand the issues of concern to residents of D’Arcy-McGee. I want to be your voice in Quebec City and defend your values because I know and share them. Whether it is fighting for the repeal of Bill 96 or working to overturn Bill 21, I will be your voice and I will stand up for the things that matter most to you. Together, as an inclusive Quebec, we can help shape a better tomorrow for future generations.
–Elisabeth Prass, Official Candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party in D’Arcy-McGee for 2022
