Sherbrooke, June 6, 2026 - As part of the Quebec Liberal Party's General Council, held in the Eastern Townships, Mr. Alain Tremblay has been officially nominated as the Quebec Liberal Party's candidate in the Labelle riding.
Alain Tremblay has worked for over 20 years in the field of communications, mainly within the education network. Since 2004, he has contributed to the development of numerous adult education and vocational training projects, while actively participating in the promotion of training paths throughout Quebec. Over the years, he has also organized and collaborated in the implementation of numerous local and regional initiatives aimed at mobilizing communities and promoting educational success.
His professional career also took him to Nunavik, where he taught radio practice. This experience gave him an in-depth understanding of the cultural, social and political realities of First Nations and Inuit communities. Keen to deepen this knowledge, he recently pursued studies in native governance at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
Prior to his career in communications, Alain Tremblay worked in the media as a host, journalist and information professional. This experience enabled him to develop a solid understanding of the social, economic and political issues affecting local communities.
Passionate about public life and deeply committed to regional development, Alain Tremblay now wishes to put his experience and commitment at the service of the citizens of Labelle. Convinced that strong communities are built by listening, dialogue and proximity, he intends to defend citizens' priorities and actively contribute to the region's future.
