Complete organizational chart of the Party's committees, bodies, standing commissions and permanent offices
The governance of the Quebec Liberal Party is based on a series of democratic bodies, specialized committees and standing commissions that ensure member participation at all levels of the organization.
Decision-making bodies
The assemblies and councils that guide the democratic life of the Party.
Committees
Specialized bodies that support Party governance.
Standing Commissions
Commissions to represent members and develop policy orientations.
The Party has four permanent commissions (art. 65). Each Commission must submit an annual action plan and activity report to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors follows up these action plans with success indicators integrated into the strategic planning process. Commissions also produce a written report for each General Council meeting.
Local and regional leadership
The territorial network that anchors the Party in every community in Quebec.
Other bodies
General Secretariat
The administrative and operational apparatus that ensures the day-to-day running of the Party.
The Party Office, under the authority of the General Management and the Chief Organizer, is the operational arm of the organization. It implements the decisions of the governing bodies, handles the day-to-day management of Party business and supports all militant, political and electoral activities. It is structured into specialized departments covering all the functions required for the smooth running of the Party.
