Sherbrooke, June 8, 2026 - Alvaro Peressutti was officially nominated as the QLP candidate for the Beauce-Sud riding at the General Council of the Quebec Liberal Party in the Eastern Townships.
A resident of Quebec for 25 years and involved in Saint-Georges de Beauce for several years, this Venezuelan-born father is entering provincial politics as a member of Charles Milliard's Liberal team.
Alvaro Peressutti completed his post-graduate studies in the greater Quebec City area, in accounting at Cégep de Lévis-Lauzon and in management and consumer affairs at Université Laval. Since February 2026, the Liberal candidate in Beauce-Sud has been Senior Manager of Customer Experience Excellence, at Créaform, a Levis-based company that designs, manufactures and markets portable 3D measurement technologies. Over the past four years with the company, he has also held the positions of manager responsible for global sales excellence and regional sales director for the Americas.
Prior to joining Créaform, Mr. Peressutti spent seven years as Territory Manager for Mueller Water products and five years as Sales and Territory Manager for Stove Builder International (SBI), based in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
Alvaro Peressutti's nearly two decades of experience in the sales industry have given him a solid grounding in sales strategy and customer experience. Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to promote Quebec know-how on international markets, which has given him a better understanding of Quebec talent and the contribution that local companies can make abroad. He now wishes to put this experience to good use in politics, to represent the constituents of the Beauce-Sud riding.
Of Venezuelan origin and with an Italian cultural heritage, Mr. Peressutti's political vision revolves around liberal values, including the principles of freedom, responsibility and collective progress. Guided by these ideas, he became actively involved in politics with the Quebec Liberal Party, as an activist with the Beauce-Sud association. He later became its president.
