Montreal, on March 21, 2026 — In the presence of Quebec Liberal Party leader Charles Milliard, several members of the National Assembly, and about a hundred local party activists, Benoit Clermont was officially nominated as the PLQ candidate for the Saint-Henri–Sainte-Anne riding.
With nearly 20 years of management experience in the television, recording, entertainment, music publishing, and new media industries, Benoit Clermont is the founder of Productions Déferlantes, one of Quebec’s leading television and new media production companies.
A longtime resident of the Saint-Henri–Sainte-Anne riding, he is very familiar with the local concerns of his community. Mr. Clermont is also actively involved in the cultural community; notably, he has served on the board of directors of the Association québécoise de la production médiatique (AQPM), the École nationale de l’humour, the Fondation de Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec, and the SODEC Record and Performing Arts Commission, and served as vice-chair of the ADISQ board of directors.
