Dollard-des-Ormeaux, May 3, 2026 - In the presence of some one hundred local activists, Brigitte B. Garceau was officially nominated as the Liberal Party of Quebec candidate for a second term in the Robert-Baldwin riding. Garceau was officially nominated as candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party in the riding of Robert-Baldwin, where she will be seeking a second term.
Involved in her community and public life for many years, Brigitte Garceau continues her political commitment under the Liberal banner. Member of the National Assembly for Robert-Baldwin since 2022, she is deeply rooted in her riding and well aware of the realities affecting West Island families. A seasoned lawyer and member of the Quebec Bar since 1992, she has practiced mainly in family law, where she has distinguished herself through her expertise and human approach. Her professional excellence has been recognized nationally, and in 2022 she was awarded the title of "Emeritus Lawyer" by the Quebec Bar.
Deeply committed to her community, especially to women and vulnerable people, Ms. Garceau chaired the Board of Directors of the West Island Women's Shelter. At the National Assembly, she is Vice-Chair of the Committee on Institutions and Official Opposition critic for the status of women and youth protection.
