Biography
An experienced lawyer and dedicated activist with the Quebec Liberal Party, Felipe Morales has maintained a deep connection to the Laurentians and Quebec for nearly forty years.
Born in Mexico, he settled in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts at the age of 15 after living in France and the United States. It was in the Laurentians that he completed high school, developed an interest in Quebec’s history and governance, and chose to build his future there.
A law graduate of the University of Ottawa, Felipe was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1995. Since then, he has developed extensive expertise in litigating before the courts and advising individuals, businesses, and organizations. Throughout his career, he has also had the privilege of working for a Quebec-based company with a significant presence in Mexico, which has allowed him to help bridge the gap between his country of birth and his adopted country.
Since becoming a naturalized Canadian citizen, he has been an activist for the Quebec Liberal Party. He has been involved in several election campaigns and, notably, participated in the “No” campaign during the 1995 referendum. His political commitment is rooted in a deep conviction: to provide future generations with the same opportunities that Quebec has offered him.
A lover of the Laurentians, where he enjoys many sports and is actively involved in his community, Felipe Morales is determined to put his enthusiasm and convictions to work for the residents of Bertrand.
