Montreal, August 7, 2026 — The Quebec Liberal Party is proud to announce Ms. Janny Gaspard as its candidate in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve riding for the upcoming general election.
A graduate of the University of Montreal with a degree in communications and politics, Janny Gaspard is making the leap into politics with the Quebec Liberal Party. She has spent her career in the institutional, community, and business sectors, where she has helped build projects that have shaped her community.
Committed to equal opportunity, the QLP candidate in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve founded the organization Femme qui Fonce, which works to empower women through mentoring, training, and leadership development. She is also involved in various projects focused on inclusion and civic engagement.
Determined to build bridges, Janny Gaspard aims to advance clear priorities: social and economic innovation, support for families, and improved access to education and training.
“It is with great pride that I ask for the citizens’ trust to represent them in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. I chose Hochelaga-Maisonneuve because I am convinced that effective political representation begins with listening, dialogue, and genuine creativity in reaching out to people. I want to champion an ambitious vision for our neighbourhood and build a community where inclusion is a reality—both in the daily lives of families and in the local economy.”
