Laval, August 6, 2026 — Accompanied by the leader of the Quebec Liberal Party, Mr. Charles Milliard, as well as numerous local party activists, Mr. Louis Ialenti was officially announced as the Liberal candidate in the Vimont-Auteuil riding.
An entrepreneur, lawyer, teacher, and community leader, Louis Ialenti is making the leap into provincial politics to join the ranks of the Quebec Liberal Party.
After studying business administration and law in Australia, Louis Ialenti began his career as a criminal and commercial lawyer. This legal experience allowed him to develop a deep understanding of public institutions, the justice system, and the economic challenges faced by citizens and entrepreneurs.
In addition to his career as a lawyer, the QLP candidate in Vimont-Auteuil has more than fifteen years of experience as an entrepreneur in the retail, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors. As the founder and manager of several businesses, this experience has given him practical insight into the challenges related to economic growth, workforce development, and the vitality of local communities.
Louis Ialenti also serves on the board of directors of the Bishop’s University Foundation, in addition to teaching courses on business-government relations at the university level.
A polyglot with a global outlook, Mr. Ialenti is fluent in four languages: French, English, Italian, and Spanish. Deeply attached to Quebec, where he has chosen to make his home, his international academic and professional experience allows him to bring a global perspective to the issues of Quebec provincial politics.
