Terrebonne, July 3, 2026 — In a video featuring the leader of the Quebec Liberal Party, Mr. Charles Milliard, Mr. Martin Gaulin was officially nominated as the QLP candidate for the Masson riding.

A resident of Terrebonne for more than twenty years and the owner of a commercial printing business for three decades, Martin Gaulin is making the leap into provincial politics in his riding under the banner of the Quebec Liberal Party.

Martin Gaulin is the owner of Imprimerie Chatelain, a third-generation small business founded in 1958 that specializes in offset printing, digital printing, and graphic design. His professional experience and personal background put him in a unique position to understand the realities faced by Quebec entrepreneurs. At a time when business succession is becoming a major issue, the man who runs the company founded by his grandfather is well aware of the challenges associated with the transfer of the thousands of businesses that will change hands in the coming years.

Deeply rooted in his community, Martin Gaulin is actively involved in his region. He chairs the Deux-Montagnes Hockey League and has also served as a volunteer coach in youth hockey in Laval. He places great importance on supporting community organizations in his region that help people in need, particularly in the area of food security. As the father of two children, Ariane and Maxime, he is also deeply committed to the well-being of young people, particularly through sports, as evidenced by his involvement in hockey.

Martin Gaulin’s candidacy is part of Quebec Liberal Party leader Charles Milliard’s commitment to making the economy the main driver of his ambitions for Quebec. For Mr. Milliard, Quebec’s economic prosperity depends first and foremost on the development of its small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which account for nearly 99% of Quebec’s business sector. Reducing the administrative burden on businesses, lowering taxes for SMEs, and creating wealth are among Charles Milliard’s top economic priorities. For him, a stronger economy is essential to funding his key priorities in public services.

“I’ve always been passionate about politics, and I want to put my experience as the head of a family business to work for our political party to make Quebec a prosperous and economically ambitious nation. I care deeply about the interests of my community, where I have lived for many years. For me, Charles Milliard and the Quebec Liberal Party represent the best option for putting Quebec back on track and ensuring that the future of our young people—including that of my children, Ariane and Maxime—is in good hands.”

— Martin Gaulin, QLP candidate in Masson

“Proud of his experience in the business world, Martin is first and foremost a resident of Terrebonne who is also actively involved in his hometown, Laval. It is important to me to highlight his commitment, which demonstrates his understanding of the realities faced by the citizens he hopes to represent. Economically speaking, Martin’s track record at the helm of his family-owned printing business perfectly illustrates what we want to encourage in Quebec: the transfer of businesses to the next generation of Quebec entrepreneurs through business succession. I’m really looking forward to campaigning alongside Martin Gaulin so that he can become the next Member of the National Assembly for Masson this coming fall!”
