Gatineau, May 14, 2026 - In the presence of Quebec Liberal Party leader Charles Milliard and local activists, Michel Langevin was officially announced as the Quebec Liberal Party candidate for the Chapleau riding in the upcoming general election.
Trained as a journalist and career radio host, Michel Langevin has over 36 years' experience in the media, in both radio and television. Over the course of his career, he has managed teams for nearly 20 years, distinguishing himself by his leadership skills, his proximity to people and his ability to bring people together. Well-known in the Outaouais region, he has also worked in amateur and professional sports as a journalist and commentator.
Deeply rooted in his community, Michel Langevin has been involved in many of the region's social causes, including the Fondation Santé Outaouais and the La Dame de Coeur lottery, an initiative that has supported hundreds of health-related projects throughout the Outaouais region. Sensitive to human distress and the realities experienced by citizens, he has devoted much of his career to giving a voice to people facing difficult situations.
Known for his authenticity, his outspokenness and his ability to listen, Michel Langevin now wishes to put his experience and commitment at the service of the citizens of Chapleau. A hands-on man with a deep attachment to his region, he intends to take on the concerns of Outaouais families with conviction, and actively contribute to improving their quality of life.
