Nancy Labbé, the Quebec Liberal Party's official candidate in Beauce-Nord

Quebec City, June 18, 2026 — Accompanied by Quebec Liberal Party leader Charles Milliard and several members of her family, Nancy Labbé was officially announced as the candidate for the Beauce-Nord riding.

A native of Sainte-Marie, in the Beauce region, Nancy Labbé has served as Executive Director and Clerk-Treasurer of the La Nouvelle-Beauce RCM since 2022.

Ms. Labbé, who has been involved in the development of her region for several years, served for seven years as executive director of the La Nouvelle-Beauce Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In that role, she received the prestigious Jean-Paul-Létourneau Award, presented to the Executive of the Year by the Quebec Chamber of Commerce Network.

The PLQ candidate in Beauce-Nord has also worked as a social worker at the Maison de la Famille in the same region. Over the years, she has served on various boards of directors and regional organizations, including Cégep Beauce-Appalaches, the Polydon Foundation at Polyvalente Benoit-Vachon, and the Cégep Beauce-Appalaches Foundation.

By running for office with the Quebec Liberal Party, she hopes to continue her commitment to the people of her region—this time in provincial politics—in order to represent the interests of the citizens of Beauce-Nord.

A recognized leader with deep roots in her community, Nancy Labbé aims to provide a strong, accessible, and effective voice for the citizens of Beauce-Nord. In the coming weeks, she plans to meet with residents, businesses, farmers, community organizations, and municipalities to develop a regional platform grounded in the realities of the area.

Several issues are close to his heart, including access to health care and family doctors, affordable housing, infrastructure, relations with municipalities and RCMs, and, of course, the region’s economic and agricultural development. These priorities are also championed by the leader of the PLQ, Charles Milliard, who considers them essential to improving the daily lives of Quebecers.

“I’m running on the conviction that we can engage in politics by staying close to the people, listening to them, and taking concrete action on the real issues facing our region. Beauce-Nord deserves a representative who is present, capable of uniting us, and defending our interests with passion and determination. The Quebec Liberal Party, led by Charles Milliard, represents, in my view, the best option for defending the people of this region in the National Assembly starting October 5.”

“Nancy knows her region, understands municipal issues, and is familiar with the realities faced by families, business owners, and local communities. Her leadership, her thoroughness, and her ability to bring people together will make a real difference for Beauce-Nord. She and I worked together back when she was employed at the La Nouvelle-Beauce Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was during that time that I was able to appreciate the full extent of her talent. She represented the interests of businesspeople with conviction, and I am confident that she will continue this work with the same determination in the service of all the citizens of Beauce-Nord.”
