The MNA representing Maurice-Richard and Liberal Critic for Environment, the Fight Against Climate Change and Agriculture, Marie Montpetit, invites citizens to come out in large numbers to attend the Union des Producteurs Agricoles’ (UPA) Open House at Quebec Farms which will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2019.
Under this year’s theme “The Environment is in our Culture!” the open house is a perfect opportunity to discover agri-environmental practices and products at over 100 participating farms. It is a standing date between farmers and Quebecers that has been happening on an annual basis for 17 years.
We can be proud of our farmers who work tirelessly to provide us with fresh and high-quality products following the best agri-environmental practices. The Open House at Quebec Farms represents a unique occasion to meet the passionate people behind our excellent local products. It is an opportunity to thank the farmers who help us to eat locally, who encourage our local economies and who are also exceptional ambassadors for Quebec throughout the whole world. Follow my lead and come meet them!
