Born in Lévis and now based in the Eastern Townships, Charles Miliard knows a Quebec that extends far beyond its major urban centres.
Charles Milliard has led the Quebec Liberal Party since February 2026. A trained pharmacist and an experienced manager, he has dedicated his career to bringing people together, moving projects forward, and building partnerships where they can make a difference.
Born in Lévis and now based in the Eastern Townships, he knows a Quebec that extends far beyond its major urban centres—one of regions, entrepreneurs, workers, and families who want public services that measure up and an economy capable of supporting their ambitions.
Before entering politics, he lead the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec and held senior leadership positions at Groupe Uniprix and NATIONAL. These experiences allowed him to work at the intersection of the economy, health care, and Quebec's biggest challenges. He holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and has also shared his leadership and strategic expertise with the next generation at Bishop's University.
His commitment has long extended beyond business world. He has chaired the board of directors of the Festival international de Lanaudière, the Festival TransAmériques, and the Fondation du Cégep de Lévis, in addition to serving on the boards of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
A Liberal supporter since 1998, Charles Milliard entered politics with a simple conviction: Quebec can regain its momentum if it has the courage to fix what is no longer working, rally its strengths, and build with ambition.
