En Route Toward the 2018 General Election

Montreal, August 8, 2018. – Surrounded by numerous party members and supporters, Louis Charron became the official candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party in the riding of Sainte-Marie–Saint-Jacques for the upcoming 2018 general elections.

I thank all those who have supported me and who have made it possible for me to be here tonight and represent them during the upcoming election campaign. In all humility, I am proud of the trust you have placed in me, because our riding should and must be represented by a MNA from the Quebec Liberal Party.

– Louis Charron, Liberal candidate for the 2018 general elections.

Recall that the Liberal government restored public finances to provide us with the means to further invest in our priorities. Since May of 2014, over 223,000 jobs were created in Quebec; the unemployment rate has been at an all-time low for several months; over 1,000,000 Quebecers now have access to a family doctor; taxes have decreased; and major investments have been made, particularly in the health care and education sectors.

I am committed to taking action for my fellow citizens so that we have diversity and a quality of life that meets our expectations in a dynamic, urban environment which offers a neighbourhood life that is safe and eco-responsible. Our riding needs a MNA that is present; serving is in my DNA.
