Biography
An economist by training and a recognized manager, Caroline De Guire has more than 25 years of experience in economic development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and representing the business community. With a master’s degree in economics from the Université de Montréal, she has dedicated her career to bringing together businesses, institutions, and local partners around projects that contribute to the growth and development of communities.
Since 2020, she has led the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry, one of the largest chambers of commerce in Quebec. Under her leadership, the organization has strengthened its role as a key player in regional economic development by advancing several initiatives related to productivity, sustainable development, buying local, the next generation of entrepreneurs, Francization, and innovation.
Recognized for her ability to mobilize people, build bridges, and turn ideas into concrete action, Caroline De Guire has worked closely with entrepreneurs, public institutions, municipal officials, and community organizations to find solutions to the region’s economic and social challenges. Her career reflects a consistent commitment to bringing together local stakeholders around shared goals.
A hands-on leader deeply committed to Laval’s development, she now hopes to put her experience to work for the citizens of Laval-des-Rapides. Convinced that economic prosperity is essential to improving the quality of life for Quebecers and strengthening our public services, Caroline De Guire hopes to help build a more efficient, more ambitious, and more humane Quebec.
