Daniela Rodriguez

Biography

A social worker by profession and a dedicated mother, Daniela Rodriguez is making the leap into provincial politics with the Quebec Liberal Party. Since the beginning of her career, she has deliberately chosen to work with those who have the least say: seniors losing their independence, teenagers marginalized by the system, and healthcare workers whose working conditions are suboptimal. It is this intimate, human, and thorough understanding of the field that has led her to want to bring these realities to the National Assembly. In November 2025, she first decided to run in the Mirabel municipal elections, convinced that action must be taken at all levels.

As a social worker serving SAPA clients, she supports seniors during some of the most intimate moments of their lives: the fear of losing independence, loneliness, and vulnerability. Working alongside older adults and their family caregivers, she has seen firsthand the true cost of a lack of services—in terms of dignity and quality of life—and has gained a direct understanding of the challenges associated with aging, access to care, and public services.

Trained as an educator working with adolescents under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA), she worked closely with young people whose lives had already taken difficult turns. This work convinced her that prevention and reintegration are not luxuries, but collective necessities. There, she developed expertise in psychosocial intervention that now informs her vision of public policy.

Beyond her clinical work, Daniela Rodriguez is actively involved in advocating for the rights of her unionized colleagues at her CISSS, focusing on working conditions, professional recognition, and workplace safety. Mindful of the challenges ahead, she has also pursued studies in cybersecurity. Convinced that Mirabel deserves a voice deeply rooted in the human realities of its residents, she is entering the provincial political arena determined to take action. Safety, infrastructure repairs, and improved access to public services are the cornerstones of her political platform. Her values of social justice, transparency, and citizen participation guide every one of her commitments.
