Biography
Filomena Rotiroti, MNA for Jeanne-Mance-Viger since 2008, proudly represents the people of her riding at the National Assembly.
Her primary motivation in politics is to improve people's quality of life and make a difference in their daily lives.
Originally from the east end of Montreal, she puts her knowledge and political experience at the service of the citizens of St-Léonard. She has extensive experience in public administration and economic development. Prior to her election as MNA, she held a number of positions in the political arena: organizer, political advisor, manager and director in the ministerial cabinet.
She has also served as Chair of several parliamentary committees, and as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Immigration and Tourism. She was Chair of the Liberal government caucus, and played a very important role as Chief Whip of the Official Opposition. And she is currently Official Opposition Critic for Employment, Infrastructure, Regional Economic Development and the Metropolis.
