Biography
With more than forty years of experience in human resources management, organizational development, training, and municipal politics, the former mayor of Marieville, Gilles Delorme, is making the leap to provincial politics by joining the Quebec Liberal Party.
With an impressive and diverse academic background, he holds a master’s degree in public administration from the École nationale d’administration publique (ÉNAP) and a Bachelor of Science in industrial relations from the Université de Montréal (UdeM). He also holds a diploma in specialized studies in education and training from the University of Sherbrooke (UdeS), as well as a certificate in community recreation from the University of Montreal.
Gilles Delorme was a partner at Delorme RH Conseil, a consulting firm that provides strategic advice and solutions in human resources management and leadership coaching to executives, managers, and companies. Throughout his career, he has held various executive and advisory roles in both the public and private sectors, particularly in the fields of administration, consulting, and education.
Throughout his career, the QLP candidate in Richelieu has collaborated with major organizations such as Santé Québec, the CIUSSS de l’Ouest de Montréal, the Marguerite-Bourgeoys School Service Center, Canada Post, Nortel Networks, Right-Axmith Conseil, Hitachi International, the City of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, and the James Bay Development Corporation.
Alongside his career, Mr. Delorme has also been actively involved in his community by serving on the boards of directors of the Société d’économie mixte de l’est de la couronne sud (SEMECS), the Chambly-Marieville-Richelieu Water Treatment Plant Operating Corporation, the Haut-Richelieu-Rouville Health and Social Services Center, and the Haut-Richelieu-Rouville Health Foundation.
