Biography
A native of the Gaspé Peninsula, Michel worked in the forestry sector for nearly 30 years. He has been involved in sustainable development in the Gaspé Peninsula for several decades and served on the Sainte-Anne-des-Monts city council.
He first ran for office in the riding riding of Gaspé in 2022, he subsequently served as the QLP’s regional organizer for all of Eastern Quebec, including the Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie, and Îles-de-la-Madeleine regions, as well as Ungava, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, and the Côte-Nord.
As a father of three, he also understands the realities faced by families in the region. He hopes to put his experience to work for the citizens and organizations of the Gaspé riding (riding), so that their concerns and initiatives are not only heard but also championed with conviction and effectiveness.
