Biography
Naïma Marylène Indira Som, a 26-year-old insurance advisor, is making the leap into provincial politics to join the Quebec Liberal Party under the leadership of Charles Milliard.
A graduate with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), the PLQ candidate in Pointe-aux-Trembles is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field, with a concentration in international politics and international law.
In her role as an insurance advisor, she helps individuals and families who are looking to protect what matters most to them. Her experience in management and working with children on the autism spectrum (ASD) has strengthened her sense of responsibility and her focus on finding solutions.
As a volunteer board member at a youth center, Naïma Marylène Indira Som believes that lasting change begins with civic engagement. Attuned to the realities faced by families and young people, she advocates for policies based on active listening, integrity, and rigor, and hopes to help improve access to quality education and effective public services.
