René-Paul Coly

Biography

A resident of Montmorency since 2001, René-Paul has a deep understanding of his community and has been actively involved in it for many years. Trained in accounting, he joined the Government of Quebec in 2009, where he continues to work as a specialist, in addition to overseeing the Entraide campaign within his organization.

As an ambassador and spokesperson for the Association for the Support of Young Athletes (APEJS), which supports young people in sports and academic success, René-Paul is also actively involved with numerous organizations in his community. He is one of the founders of the Pan-African Council of Quebec (COPAQ) and currently serves on its board of directors.

His commitment has also led him to volunteer with the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, the Beauport Soccer Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the Rivières Lions Club. From the Guignolée food drive to the distribution of Christmas baskets, including the Christmas dinner for the visually impaired at Caecitas, René-Paul is always there to give back to his community.
